I got back on the road again today to Sa Kaeo. Started out at our go-to car wash because the car was filthy. After that, I was on my way to Fortunetown Mall for a new drone to buy a new drone at Snapshot.
I don’t know if I’ve mentioned Fortunetown before, but if you’re looking for a good tech mall to get computer, camera, or tech gear in general, then this mall is the place to go. Pantip had been the place to go, but after the pandemic it went downhill and changed to another type of mall.
I decided to get the Mini 4 Pro with the RC2 remote with display. I’ll deal with my other drone when I get back. I also picked up some Freewell polarized neutral density filters for it.
I found that the Freewell ND filters worked quite well on the Pocket 3, and I noticed in my drone video from this week that I could use the filters.
Navigating the weekend traffic in Bangkok wasn’t so bad on this Saturday. Kind of surprising!
It really was an uneventful trip back to Sa Kaeo, which I reached in the late afternoon. It’s a pretty good route, and the traffic is pretty light compared to going up via Nakhon Ratchasima.
My next destination will be Buriram again. There are some sights I would like to see along the way, but east of where I had gone before. I am going to have to pick up the pace because I am a bit behind after the drone delay.
Day 5? Just in case you’re keeping track, not much happened on Day 5. It was a housekeeping day, and I got a lot of computer work done. I was working on figuring out the next move in the drone situation. Unfortunately it seemed like the best option was to buy a new one, and upgrade. The exact replacement for mine is in short supply.
