I am surprised to see this bag again! I was certain Crystal’s suitcase would end up in a moldy mountain of luggage in the basement of Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris.
I envisioned a daring rescue mission to Paris, deep into the bowels of the notorious French airfield, fighting off chain-smoking airport workers, smelling vaguely of B.O. and malodorous cheese (the airport workers, not me), and rats the size of small dogs.
Any excuse to travel to Paris! Alas, it was not to be! The bag arrived this afternoon.
Thank you to Thai Airways for getting it on the next flight, and delivering it to our condo!
Admittedly, I am a bit disappointed in not being able to fly to Paris to rescue it. The mission could have taken weeks to complete.
It would have required much planning, croissants, and coffee in Parisian cafés, as well as pondering great works of art at Le Louvre to make sure I was in the right frame of mind to tackle the dangerous mission.
I am available for hire for such missions.
