As I was about to leave the village of Bo Kluea in the northern part of Nan province, I discovered the butterflies of Bo Kluea on the flowers near the river. I absolutely had to delay leaving the village. If I hadn’t stopped to take photos, I’d still regret it!
They were near the river, just across from Wat Bo Luang. I’d parked nearby.
Even with the long lens on my camera, it was a challenge to capture these butterflies. They were fast and didn’t stay on the flowers for long!
I did manage to get some good shots. These photos represent the majority of the species of butterflies I saw there.
