Kub Kao Kub Pla – Icon Siam, Bangkok, Thailand

Kub Kao Kub Pla at Icon Siam mall in Bangkok
Kub Kao Kub Pla is a good choice at Icon Siam Mall. Nice decor, nice view, good food!

On Crystal’s first full day back in Thailand, she went to work, and we went out for supper to one of our favourite Thai restaurants, Kub Kao Kub Pla at IconSiam.

As usual, it was all delicious, and did not disappoint. It is certainly pricier than most Thai restaurants, but the quality is good as is the selection.

One thing we had that is a bit different was a smoothie made from Santol fruit. I think I have had something similar, and it has sort of a melon flavour. Tough to describe. It was interesting to try but I think we are both on the fence about it.

The decor is nice at this location, and you can’t beat the view! If you can, try to get a seat by the windows so you get the view out over the river. It’s spectacular!
